Hockey Composite

This first image is the final product. This was shot for the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena. However, this was NOT shot on ice. As you will see there are two additional images that were used to composite the final. I did 3-5 of this treatment with 3 final images which you can see on my sports portfolio page.

How was this done? The first thing I did was shoot Seth Jones a Defender for the Blue Jackets on synthetic ice on a white background. Secondly, I went through and picked my favorite shots from the shoot and then went back to Nationwide Arena to match the angles I wanted. Lastly, I hired one of retouchers to do his magic and this is where we landed.
